Bread trail

It is the scenic views that dominate this valley loop. A route of medium difficulty, it touches the wonderful villages of Marliana, Montagnana, Avaglio and Casore del Monte, with their characteristic medieval structures and alleys rich in history. The path, which is also passable during the winter season, passes through olive fields and farmhouses where you can stop for a restorative break. While the section that climbs back up to Avaglio gives splendid views of the Nievole Valley. At the stops along this route there are exquisite bakeries that make bread baked in wood-fired ovens according to the local tradition.
